Dockside Miniatures was founded with a simple goal: to create the realistic crew figures that maritime modellers have been searching for.

For years we've admired beautifully built tugboats, fishing vessels, lifeboats and working craft, yet so many of them were missing the one thing that truly brings a model to life... its crew.

We wanted to change that.

Every Dockside Miniatures figure begins as an original digital sculpture, carefully researched and designed to capture authentic clothing, equipment and natural poses. Each figure is then professionally resin printed using high-resolution printers before being individually inspected in our workshop to ensure the highest quality.

Inspired by Britain's Maritime Heritage

Dockside Miniatures is proudly based in Portishead, a town with a rich maritime history on the Bristol Channel.

From busy dockyards and hardworking tugboats to fishing harbours and lifeboat stations, Britain's coastline has inspired generations of skilled seafarers. That heritage continues to inspire every figure we produce today.
